Hi, might need a bit of help,

So it has been a month and a half since I started to draw and so far, enjoy it a lot. As suggested, I try to practise every day to not get a bad habit (ah... procrastination, my arch-nemesis) but I didn't do much in this first half of October so time to wake up.

My current problem is and always the eyes and facial element positions and proportions (mouth, nose, eyes). And I struggle at drawing male faces. I don't seem to understand that a manga character's head is very big compared to the eyes and such ended most of the time with a sort of shojo character. I will fix this in time.

For those who are reading these lines, do you now where I could find a character (any gender) with very well drawn eyes (more shonen/sienen than shojo, thanks)? It can be from an anime, manga or just another artist who's great at it. I watch Vocaloid songs on Youtube quite regularly and came across a fantastically well done music video where the Vocaloid Miku has the most beautiful eyes I've seen on this character since I know about her. (Link of the video [Hatsune Miku - Lol] : youtu.be/FTGqYnjOHkA )

So any screenshot, video or fanart of surprisingly good eyes style? (the one you think are the best. I have an infinite amount of source on the net. Need help to find the best.). Don't have much male's. Need those.

Giving a try to drawing after seeing a subject on 10 year progress charts that hundreds of Japanese artists put on Pixiv. They display year by year how their drawing skills improve and that convinced me that practice is the key, and not talent (Search "10年進化録" for a tag regrouping them on Pixiv).
First drawing the 29 August 2011.
Sometimes (rarely in fact), post an article on my blog "Random Thoughts and Stuff". Link below.
